A man who was turned away from a bar in San Antonio shot and injured a minimum of eight people in the parking area late Friday, cops stated.
Authorities were searching for the gunman, who ran away the scene Friday night, San Antonio Cops Chief William McManus said at an instruction early Saturday.
The gunman became part of a small group that left a bar in northern San Antonio and walked throughout the street to Rebar, a big nightspot that typically has live music and DJ efficiencies. The group was turned away at the door due to the fact that they were “inebriated,” McManus stated.
One of the members of the group reacted by stating, “Don’t you understand who I am? I’m a UFC fighter from California,” the authorities chief said.

That guy then strolled back to his car throughout the street, got a long rifle, walked back to the Rebar car park and opened fire, McManus stated.
5 ladies and three males between the ages of 23 and 41 were harmed in the shooting, McManus stated. Their exact conditions weren’t immediately known, but McManus identified them as steady at regional medical facilities, where they took themselves.
The most severe injury was suffered by somebody who was shot in the back, McManus said. 2 others were grazed however didn’t accept treatment.
Although the shooter stayed at big, McManus stated he didn’t think there was any risk to the area. More information weren’t immediately offered.
Rebar has to do with 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) southeast of San Antonio International Airport. A call to the contact number noted on its site was not addressed.
